Is Beast Games Season 3 Casting Closed? Can You Still Apply?

Yes. Beast Games Season 3 casting is closed, even though nobody at Amazon or MrBeast ever stood up and announced a closing date. Submissions opened on January 13, 2026, through the official casting site, beastgames.com/compete. The season then moved into its country voting stage in April, filming ran across the spring and summer of 2026, and the show is now deep into post-production ahead of a premiere expected around December 2026 or January 2027. That premiere window is an estimate based on the first two seasons, not an official date.

So if you are landing on this page hoping to send in an application today, the honest answer is that the window has passed for Season 3. The good news is that this franchise casts on a fairly predictable cycle, and the people who get picked tend to be the ones who were ready before the announcement dropped. This guide walks through exactly what happened, why so many fans are still confused about the status, and what you can do right now to be first in line next time.

The Short Answer: Yes, Season 3 Casting Is Closed

No official deadline was ever published for Season 3 applications. Monaco Life noted that detail while casting was still open, and it is the main reason the internet is full of mixed signals. Some sites still carry their January and February application guides, written while submissions were live, and those pages keep ranking in search results long after the situation changed.

The timeline tells the real story. A show does not hold fan voting for its cast in April, film through the summer, and then quietly keep accepting applications in October. Once filming started, the cast was locked. Every stage after that, editing, promotion, the premiere rollout, happens with a fixed group of players.

If a site tells you today that you can still apply for Season 3, it is almost certainly working from an outdated article. The only official application address was beastgames.com/compete, run by MrBeastCasting, the casting operation of MysticArt Pictures, and that intake belonged to a stage of production that ended months ago.

Beast Games Season 3 Casting Timeline: What Happened and When

Most casting explainers skip the dates. We think the dates are the whole story, because they show how fast each stage followed the last one.

Read that table top to bottom and the pattern is obvious. Casting opened during Season 2’s premiere week, voting replaced applications by spring, and cameras rolled in the summer. Anyone still polishing an application video in October was preparing for a train that had already left the station.

Why So Many People Think Casting Might Still Be Open

The confusion is understandable, and it is not really the fans’ fault.

First, there was never a countdown clock. Season 3 casting opened with a splashy announcement, then simply stopped being promoted once the process moved on. No closing press release, no farewell post. Second, the application requirements were demanding enough that many hopefuls spent weeks preparing. The official rules, covered in detail by Just Jared, asked for a passport valid through January 2027, the legal ability to travel to and re-enter a list of 14 countries, and six consecutive free weeks between April and July 2026. People invested real effort, so they kept checking for news.

Third, search results lag reality. Application guides from Dexerto, Just Jared and others were written in January and February 2026, when applying was genuinely possible. Google does not automatically retire those pages when a deadline passes.

One more thing worth knowing: the eligibility bar this season was higher than ever. Casting asked for world-class competitors, champions, record holders, elite specialists, people who could carry their country’s flag. We break that rule down in our guide to the Season 3 world-class competitors rule, including why it made so many longtime fans angry.

What Replaced Applications: The Country Vote

Season 3 changed how the cast gets built. Instead of producers quietly choosing everyone, the official @beastgames account announced on April 24, 2026 that fans would vote for their country’s representative on beastgames.votenow.tv. Each country had a shortlist, and the public picked one player per nation. The grand prize was confirmed in the same announcement: $5,000,000.

That vote is why the application stage ended when it did. Once shortlists were published and voting opened, there was no longer an open door for new applicants to walk through. The cast was effectively narrowed to the named finalists, and the public, not just the casting team, made the final call. Missed It? How to Be Ready for the Next Round

Nothing about Season 4 is official yet. Amazon’s May 2025 renewal covered Seasons 2 and 3, and a fourth season has not been announced. Still, the pattern from three casting cycles is consistent enough to prepare against. Here is the readiness checklist we would follow.

Follow the actual casting channel. Every season so far has run through MysticArt Pictures and its MrBeastCasting accounts. Announcements land there first, and Season 3 opened with almost no warning in the middle of Season 2’s premiere week. Our Season 3 registration guide tracks how the official intake worked.

Fix your passport situation now. Season 3 required a passport valid through January 2027 and clean travel eligibility across a 14-country list that included the US, UK, Canada, Japan, Fiji and others. Passport renewals take weeks. This is the single most common silent disqualifier.

Record your one-minute video before you need it. The application asked for a video covering your name, what makes you unique, what drives you, and what you would do with $5 million. Season 3 also pushed national pride hard: why you, why your country. A rough version filmed today beats a panicked version filmed on deadline day.

Protect six open weeks. Applicants had to guarantee six consecutive free weeks inside the April to July window. Sort out the conversation with your employer early. Our Season 3 casting guide covers the requirement list in full.

Understand the money before you sign anything. Winning is not the only way players get paid, and taxes take a serious bite out of big prizes. Read our breakdown of whether Beast Games contestants get paid and the Season 2 taxes guide before the next application window opens, not after.
