Beast Games Season 3 USA Candidates: The 5 Americans Who Battled for One Spot

Beast Games has gone global for Season 3, and for the first time the fans picked the players. MrBeast set up a simple format: one contestant from every country on Earth, chosen by a public vote in that country. The United States had five final candidates, a veteran engineer, a firefighter, a cosmetics founder, a celebrity chef and a 9/11 rescue worker, all fighting for a single spot.

One important note before we meet them: only one of these five actually won the USA vote and competed in Season 3. Filming is already finished, so the winner has played the game and the result is locked in, but Amazon and MrBeast have not announced the name yet. Below is everything we know about the five USA candidates, how the vote worked, and when the winner is expected to be revealed.

How the USA Representative Was Chosen

Casting for the global season opened in January 2026, when hopefuls sent one-minute videos to the show through its official casting page (our Beast Games Season 3 casting guide breaks down that process). From the applicants, the show built a shortlist for every country, and on April 24, 2026, the official Beast Games account on X announced that fans would make the final call.

Voting ran from April 24 to May 1, 2026, on beastgames.votenow.tv. The official rules kept it tight: voters had to be 18 or older, register with an email address, and cast only one vote per email address for the whole campaign. The site used geolocation, so Americans could only vote in the USA pool, and the same system ran in every other competing country. Whoever topped the USA vote became the single American representative, chasing the $5,000,000 prize against one winner from every other nation.

Karah: The Veteran Engineer

Karah brought the most technical resume in the USA pool. She is a US Armed Forces veteran and an award-winning hovercraft engineer mechanic, an unusual mix of military discipline and hands-on engineering.

Her pitch leaned hard on the American dream. She described growing up with very little and going through what she called “not-great situations,” and said that when people think of America, they think of the person who starts with nothing and works hard to get where they want to be.

That background is a real asset in this format. Beast Games challenges regularly involve building, fixing and problem-solving under time pressure, and a mechanic who has also served in uniform is built for exactly that kind of chaos. If Karah won the vote, she would be one of the most technically skilled players in the entire global field.

DeWhon: The Firefighter Who Has Seen Both Sides

DeWhon’s story started at rock bottom. He experienced homelessness as a child, something he says means he has seen “both sides of America.” He is now a husband and father who works two of the most people-focused jobs there are: he is a social worker and a firefighter, and in his college days he played football.

In his pitch, DeWhon pointed to firefighting as his edge, saying it taught him to work hard, stay calm under pressure and show up when it matters.

Beast Games is a social game as much as a physical one, and DeWhon covers both sides. Years of running into emergencies give him composure when challenges turn frantic, and a social worker’s instincts are close to ideal for reading a room full of rivals and building the alliances that carry players deep into this show.

Shannon: The Founder Playing for Her Son

Shannon is a first-generation American whose mother immigrated to the United States. Raised by a single mom, she is now a mother of two and a business owner who built her own cosmetics company from the ground up, starting in her mother’s garage.

Her motivation is the most personal in the pool: her five-year-old son idolizes MrBeast. She said she wanted to win the vote in his honor, and for everyone who started from the bottom and worked their way up. In her words, stepping into Beast Games means representing every person at home who started from nothing.

Founders tend to do well in this arena. Building a company from a garage demands risk tolerance, stamina and the ability to sell people on a plan, three things that matter when huge money is on the table and every other player is scheming.

Andre Rush: The White House Chef

Andre Rush was by far the most famous name in the USA pool, and arguably in the whole global vote. He joined the US Army in 1993, retired as a Master Sergeant, and spent his career cooking at the very top of the military. He served as a chef for four presidential administrations at the White House, covering Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump, and he was a member of the United States Culinary Arts Team, where he won more than 150 medals and trophies.

Rush is also a veteran mental health advocate famous for doing 2,222 push-ups every day, a number chosen to honor the estimated 22 veterans lost to suicide each day. That routine, plus his enormous build and charisma, has earned him a massive social media following.

His pitch to voters was about unity, stressing that he did not care about anyone’s background or beliefs and that everyone would stand together. In a field of unknowns, Rush brought instant star power, elite fitness and more than two decades of leadership, a combination no other USA candidate could match.

Phillip: The Rescue Worker Who Beat Cancer

Phillip, 47, from Staten Island, New York, had the story that stopped a lot of voters mid-scroll. After the 9/11 attacks, he volunteered as a rescue worker in the aftermath. More recently, he beat cancer.

Away from the spotlight, Phillip rescues birds and has built an entire habitat where they can recover and live in rehabilitation. Talking about the birds in his pitch, he said they are thriving because he gave them the opportunity to thrive, and that he uses that to teach his kids a lesson: when life knocks you down, you get back up and keep fighting.

At 47, Phillip was the oldest of the five candidates, but Beast Games history is full of players whose life experience beat raw youth. His is a resilience story built for this show, and it made him one of the most rootable names in the entire vote.

Who Won the USA Vote?

Short answer: we do not know yet, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing. The vote closed on May 1, 2026, filming ran through the summer in Greenville, North Carolina, and the season is in the can. The USA winner has already competed against the rest of the world, but the name is being kept secret until Amazon and MrBeast reveal the cast, which is expected close to the premiere.

Amazon has not announced a premiere date either. Based on when filming wrapped, the working estimate is a release window around December 2026 to January 2027, but treat that as an estimate, not a confirmed date. Our Beast Games Season 3 release date tracker follows every official update as it lands. Whoever the USA winner is, they are chasing the same life-changing prize that made the Season 2 winner famous, and this page will be updated the moment the name is official.
