Survivor 51 Cast: Meet the 21 Castaways and Their Status
Who is in the Survivor 51 cast? Twenty-one first-time players, and not one of them is a random pick: Jeff Probst has said casting put a star next to every name that had to be on this season. The result is the most varied cast in years: a WWE wrestler, a federal prosecutor, a Yankees front office executive, a sociology professor who teaches this very show, and a doctor in training. This page introduces every player properly: their age, hometown, where they live now, what they do in real life, their starting tribe, how many votes they have taken, and whether they are still in the game. The status and votes-against columns update from the elimination data after every episode, so this cast list is never stale. For the season itself, see our Survivor 51 hub.
Survivor 51 Tribes
The season began in a way no season has: all 21 castaways marooned together on one beach, with Lewis Kelly volunteering for a solo Exile Island journey before tribes even existed. When the tribes formed, the game split into two, the first two-tribe start since Winners at War:
Toka (yellow) started with 12 players, including the exile Lewis, who joined after the first immunity challenge. In Episode 4, the two tribes were swapped into three. Toka now has 6 still in: Mike, Carter, Brady, Thien An, Maggie and Kristin.
Savu (purple) started with 9 players. After the Episode 4 swap, Savu has 4 still in: Alexis, Devin, Jelly and Ori. Jenna was voted out of the new Savu in Episode 4.
Dina is the new third tribe formed in the Episode 4 swap, with 6 still in: Kilby, Lewis, Sharonda, Eric, Linnea and Cristian.

Names to Know: The Early Stories
Carter Krull (Toka)

The season’s most consequential player so far. A livestock farmer who has watched Survivor with his mother since childhood, he received Rob’s idol as a parting gift, volunteered for the camp visit, chose to mutiny to Toka, had his bag searched within hours, and still cast a deciding vote that night. He holds an idol on a tribe that does not fully trust him, which makes him both powerful and hunted.
Angelica “Jelly” Loblack (Savu)

A sociology professor who literally teaches Survivor in her classroom, studying the hierarchies the game creates. She found Toka’s hidden idol in Episode 2 and has not needed it yet. She was blindsided by the Episode 3 flip, so her idol’s first test may come soon.
Brady Booker (Toka)

A professional wrestler who performed in WWE’s NXT system as Bodhi Hayward. In Episode 2 he lost part of his thumb in a challenge accident, had it treated, and refused to leave. He found an extra vote with Maggie in Episode 3 and let her hold it. He was blindsided hours later. Few players have had a louder first three episodes.
Devin Way (Savu)

A working actor (Sistas, Queer as Folk, Grey’s Anatomy) hiding his profession from the tribe. He holds an extra vote from the Episode 3 journey, but his voting record is winless: his chosen targets survived Episodes 1 and 3, and his alliance was blindsided in the second.
Kristin Flickinger (Toka)

At 49, the oldest player of the season, a crisis management professional who had been applying to play Survivor for 25 years, as long as the show has existed. She hurt her foot in an Episode 2 reward challenge and played on, and she sits inside Savu’s ruling six.
Mike Pinsky (Toka)

The New York Yankees’ assistant director of baseball operations, a man who negotiates contracts and advises on trades for a living. He negotiates for a living in a salary cap world; the Open Era has no salary cap, and his alliance just got voted down to the bottom.
Thien An Nguyen (Toka)

The youngest player at 24 and a medical student who promised the most cutthroat game she could play. Three episodes in she has voted correctly every time, including the Episode 3 flip, without taking a single vote against her.
